Three Brothers Bakery Announces June “Cookies for a Cause” Partner: The Lazarus House
Proceeds from the bakery’s signature charity cookie will support Houstonians living with muscle-wasting conditions including HIV.
HOUSTON, TX — Three Brothers Bakery is proud to announce that its June “Cookies for a Cause” initiative will benefit The Lazarus House, a Houston-based non-profit dedicated to providing holistic wellness and physical rehabilitation for individuals living with chronic illnesses.

Founded in 2002, The Lazarus House serves adults and adolescents battling conditions that have a collateral impact on muscle health. By offering a supportive, safe, and comfortable environment, the organization provides a lifeline for those who might otherwise lack the resources to maintain their physical strength and overall well-being.
"Those suffering from the effects of HIV need help regaining physical strength and may not have the means to receive it. The Lazarus House can help with that critical component to improve outcomes," said Bobby Jucker, fifth-generation baker and co-owner of Three Brothers Bakery.
Throughout the month of June, a portion of the proceeds from every specialty charity cookie sold at all Three Brothers Bakery locations—and via their online store—will be donated directly to The Lazarus House. These funds will support the organization’s mission to provide:
Customized Exercise Programs: Specialized fitness routines designed to combat muscle atrophy.
Nutritional Support: Guidance tailored to the needs of those living with chronic conditions.
Holistic Wellness: A community-focused approach to health that fosters dignity and hope.
"We believe in the power of community health," added Jucker. "The Lazarus House has been doing the heavy lifting for over two decades, and we are honored to use our platform to help our neighbors get back on their feet."
