January 20th is Cheese Lover’s Day! Here’s a short list of our cheesiest desserts and pastries!
You can always catch Bobby wandering the bakery, noshing on a Cheese Pocket! We fill danish dough with a mound of sweet, delicious cream cheese, glaze it with egg wash, then bake until golden. These treats taste so good warm and are a perfect snack for any time of the day. It is also one of the recipes from the “old country.”
Like the Cheese Pocket, for our Cheese Danish, we take danish dough and coat it with our tasty cinnamon schmear. Then, we twist it into our signature danish, top it with cream cheese, then bake.
Since we’ve officially entered Mardi Gras season, we would be remiss not to mention our Cream Cheese King Cake! Our King Cakes are made Louisiana-style and come covered with Royal Icing and Mardi Gras colored sanding sugar. We can fill King Cakes with cinnamon (plain), cream cheese, fruit, or a mix of cream cheese and fruit filling. Order today and again before Fat Tuesday!
The Cheesecake Cupcake is definitely a customer favorite! We take some of our deliciously sweet cheesecake, mix it with whipped cream, and swirl it on top of a white cupcake. We keep these in the showcase, so call ahead or order online to secure yours.
