The month of November brings a lot of things to mind – Election Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, just to name a few. But there’s one thing you should be celebrating this month, and you might not even know about it. November is National Peanut Butter Lovers Month!

The timing of this holiday is far from random. On November 4, 1895, Dr. John Harvey Kellogg filed for the first patent for peanut butter. Back then, he used steamed peanuts to make the tasty spread. The man most of us associate with the invention of peanut butter, George Washington Carver, pioneered using the roasted nuts that most of us devour today. And when we say devour, we mean it – Americans will eat more than 65 million pounds of peanut butter this month alone!

We have two tasty ways to commemorate over 120 years of Americans loving their peanut butter. The first is our Peanut Butter Cup Cupcake, which brings together a perfect combination of peanut butter and chocolate – and we sprinkle bite-sized candies on top as an added bonus!

For those seeking a purer serving of peanut butter taste, we recommend our Peanut Butter Cookie. Just one bite will remind you that peanut butter does not always need jelly or chocolate to be delicious. Simply by itself, peanut butter is great!
