It’s our favorite time of year! The bakery is abuzz with holiday music, and we’re hard at work filling pie orders. But one of our most beloved traditions among our staff and our customers is when we roll out the fryer machine to make our Sufganiyot, or donuts, for Hanukkah!
While Hanukkah is by no means the healthiest holiday in the Jewish year, we could venture to say it is one of the most delicious! Sufganiyot are made to represent the days that the menorah burned in temple–eight whole days on so little oil–a true miracle!
Hanukkah is a fun time, and we definitely enjoy it. Each night, we light the menorah at Three Brothers Bakery – Braeswood and say the prayers–come and join us! We will have donuts, Hanukkah cookies, and other treats ready for you to purchase to take home to your loved ones.
