Happy summer! Ok, so the official season does not start until June, but you can feel it in the weather, and school is coming to a close – that makes it summer to us!
We have many a sweet treat to ring in all the major holidays and occasions you can celebrate over the next few months. Vets, dads and grads are sure to get a kick out of these!
Don’t be shy about letting your patriotism show – you have two opportunities to show your American pride coming up soon. The first comes on Monday, May 29, when we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom on Memorial Day. Then, shortly after, we celebrate Independence Day on July 4. The holiday falls on a Monday this year, which is as good a reason as any to make sure you are well stocked on red, white and blue sweet treats for the whole family!
Graduation also comes around at the end of May or beginning of June, depending on various school schedules. While it is always sad to close one chapter of someone’s academic life, a fun cake ensures a sweet start to the next chapter! And don’t just think these cakes are limited to high school and college – we make them for kindergarten, 5th grade and 8th grade!
Summer also brings us Father’s Day (Sunday, June 19). What better way to show appreciation for the special paternal figures in your life than with a sweet thanks?
