Mazel Tov to 73 Years!!

May 7, 2022

Celebrating A Bakery Empire! Our story began in Europe (Chrzanow, Poland) around 1825 with the first bakery opening. Sadly, the family was sent to concentration camps in 1941 where they had to practice extreme courage and bravery until their freedom from the SS officers on May 8, 1945. The three brothers (Sigmund, Sol, and Max Jucker) along with their sister immigrated to Houston, Texas where they opened a bakery on […]

Why We Remained Open During Passover 2019

May 14, 2019

We, Bobby and Janice Jucker, co-owners of Three Brothers Bakery, have fought back after every disaster to befall our family owned bakery. We come from a history of survivorship – beginning with the founders’ liberation during the Holocaust.  As many know, Hurricane Harvey brought four days of rain and over fifty inches of rainfall.  It was a life changing storm.  Harvey was our 4th flood, plus we survived and rebuilt […]

It’s that time of the year again… National Dog Day!

August 26, 2015

As most of you know, we love our pups here at Three Brothers Bakery. Janice and Bobby’s furry family members, Bentley, Bella and Bobka, are, of course, tail-wagging hosts at our Washington Avenue location’s dog friendly patio. Bobka came to be a part of the Jucker family with the help of PetFinders, where Bobka’s rescuer combed through hundreds of emails from interested adopters before deciding on Janice and Bobby, who then […]

April 22, 2012

As  a breast cancer survivor I wanted to explain why I continue to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  Please also note:  I am writing this blog post on my own and from my heart. I have no affiliation with the organization except for occasional volunteer and annual walker in Race for the Cure. In the wake of the decision to not support Planned Parenthood and reversal of the […]

Hamantaschen Baked in Texas Are Not Just for Purim Anymore

March 7, 2012

Could Hamantaschen be going mainstream? In 2011 we sold approximately 35,000.” Hamantaschen, a triangle shaped cookie filled with usually poppy, prune or apricot, and sold in most places only during the Jewish holiday of Purim are found daily at Three Brothers Bakery in none other than Houston, Texas.
